Some Other Things That Never Change
So some of the new ConDem cabinet has been announced:
Percentage of ethnic minorities in the neighbourhood where I live: 64%
Percentage of ethnic minorities in the new ConDem cabinet: 0%
Percentage of women working in my office: 62.5% (including the boss)
Percentage of women in the new ConDem cabinet: 10%
(and that's Theresa May, for God's sake!))

Alternatively, you could take a look at the excellent mix (ethnicity and gender) on Newham Council.
But, what will be the quality of representation? How much scrutiny of the Executive will take place? In short, who will question the Mayor?
