Victory for Kingsnorth Climate Change Campaigners!

A good report on ITN about E.On's decision to shelve its plans for Kingsnorth.

Victories are few and far between, but never impossible - as Ben Stewart, one of six Greenpeace activists who was cleared of causing £30,000 of criminal damage at Kingsnorth, said in a piece in the Guardian:
"If you look at how the terrain looked a few years ago, the third runway at Heathrow and the coal power station at Kingsnorth looked inevitable. The turnaround was the result of a lot of people coming together, getting on the same page, and deciding to campaign."
