Coverage of the Signspotting Project, a collection of strange, funny and improbable signs collected by the American journalist Doug Lansky and currently on display at the Edinburgh Festival, has made me turn to some of my own collection of photographs of signs – as friends know, this is one of my favourite subjects too.Here are a few of my own:
