Yesterday I was on my way home from central London and stopped off at north Greenwich to take a look at the new Thames Cable Car, which opens in the summer. Repair work continues and I was lucky to capture these dramatic pictures. More on Flickr
They are opening it soon. Suggest people don't take the cable car, when London City Airport are running. Best time is Saturday afternoon to Sunday morning (23.5 hours).
I don't have confidence, as the cable car cuts accross the London City Airport flight path (just as they are either taking off or landing).
As usual Newham Councillors just waved the Planning Application through.... ignoring safety concerns....
